ICO · Organizational Connection Index

How is your organization
really connected?

ICO measures your company's informal network and how the people inside perceive it. In days, you know exactly where collaboration flows, and where it breaks.

Companies operate
with a map that doesn't exist

Org charts show what should happen. ICO shows what actually happens: who collaborates with whom, where information gets stuck and how that dynamic feels from the inside.

01
Invisible collaboration
Real workflows don't follow the org chart. Decisions travel through informal channels that no one has mapped.
02
Hidden critical nodes
Some people hold the network together without anyone realizing it. If they leave, the connection goes with them. They're usually not the middle managers.
03
Silos no one sees
Teams say they collaborate. The data shows certain areas never touch. Perception and reality rarely match.
04
Decisions without ground
Restructures, mergers, engagement plans. Made without understanding the human architecture that actually holds the organization together.

Objective network +
individual perception

ICO combines two dimensions that other diagnostics separate: analysis of the real network — who works with whom — and how each person perceives that dynamic from their role.

The result is an index that weights both dimensions at 50%, giving a complete read on how connection actually works inside the company.

We have spent years working
on real connections

We aren't a consultancy that discovered the topic two years ago. Ampliando Círculos® started with one specific obsession: understanding how connections get built and broken inside organizations and between people.

That accumulated experience, working with companies of different sizes and sectors, is what's behind ICO: an instrument built from practice, not from a textbook.

  1. A

    Constant focus on networks

Well-built connections are the most underrated asset in any organization. We've been on this for years, not weeks.

  2. B

    Real business context

Sales teams, HR and leadership in companies across Chile and Latin America. We read the data, and the cultural context too.

  3. C

    Proprietary instrument

We didn't adapt an imported methodology. ICO was built from scratch, combining network analysis with individual perception.

  4. D

    People behind the data

No middlemen, no franchises. The team that designed the diagnostic is the same team that delivers it.

Every tier includes
  • Full 19-question instrument
  • Organizational network map
  • Dashboard with broken-down ICO index
  • Executive report with recommendations

The diagnostic is a starting point, not an end. If results reveal areas that need follow-up work — workshops, team interventions, process consulting — that's quoted separately, based on each organization's specific needs.

ICO is a diagnostic tool, not a verdict. Results should be read as a snapshot of the moment, input for conversation and decision-making, not as a final truth about people or teams.

What people usually ask

How is ICO different from a traditional ONA?
ICO combines the objective network with individual perception. A traditional organizational network analysis (ONA) only measures interaction structure; ICO adds how each person perceives that dynamic from their role, weighting both dimensions at 50%.
How many questions does the instrument have?
19 questions. Designed for minimal internal friction and maximum data quality.
How long does the full diagnostic take?
About 14 days from kickoff to executive report delivery, depending on organization size and participation speed.
What exactly does ICO deliver?
Three deliverables: an organizational network map with critical nodes, silos and bridges; a dashboard with the ICO index broken down by block, area and level; and an executive report with findings and actionable recommendations.
Does the same price include the same deliverables?
Yes. Deliverables are identical across all tiers (S, M, L, XL). What scales with price is the field-work scope — number of participants, coordination effort and segmentation depth.
Which countries does ICO operate in?
ICO operates primarily in Chile, with prices in UF and a USD reference for international clients. Service in Spanish and English. For companies in other Latin American countries, contact hola@ico.cl.
